Unique Bali Tropical Villa

"From the initial booking till departure Lisa was very helpful, thoughtful and understanding of any needs. She was always quick to reply and hospitable!
The house is amazing and the pictures don't do it justice! It really is an amazing place for a family or group holiday. My partner and I stayed in the joglo, which is beautifully crafted and tastefully decorated. My friends family including three kids stayed in the main house, which was also decorated and furnished in a warm welcoming way.
The staff were very professional and almost invisible when there so when we did stay in the home they didn't distrupt our holidaying time.
All in all a fantastic place, host and holiday! Thank you so much Lisa! I would highly recommend this place if you are looking to escape the hassle and bustle of kuta/legian etc and want holiday were its peaceful yet within walking distance you have many amenities.

Classical Tropical Villa

"It is a oasis to relax and recharge , with the beach and tourist shops/restaurants of Sanur just down the street and easily accessible. The house and gardens are perfect and the garden landscaping beautiful. The table on the large porch is perfect for gathering, eating and visiting. The living area has very comfortable couch seating, internet is good, and the kitchen very handy. Lots of room. We loved the pool and spent hours enjoying it. The jogolo house/bedroom was a unique place. The villa vibe was very welcoming and relaxing. We definitely plan on returning once this corona virus issue is lessened."

Traditional Javanese House

"We had a lovely stay in this traditional house. It’s very comfortable and the fact it’s open means you never get to hot. The street it on is very sweet and quiet and about a 10 min walk to shops, restaurants and beach.
The people looking after the house were very friendly and helpful. We even got home one day to find the most beautiful and tasty bananas the gardener had picked in the garden.
Highly recommend this little place."

Incredible Traditional Teak Limasan Villa

"We loved this place! So unique. Most of the house is outdoors which in Bali means fantastic and warm. The bedrooms are tastefully decorated and air con works great. I was surprised that with so much of the home outdoors it was so clean and bug/animal free. But it was. Was grateful for the recommendations as well. Especially loved an afternoon at the Hyatt.
Wouldn't  hesitate to recommend this spot."

The Villa's History

The Indonesian island of Bali is a holiday hotspot for vacationers.  Repeatedly voted in the top 10 world destinations, Bali is among many things, an incredible source of interior design inspiration.  The Kesari villas are a clever fusion of minimalism and natural coastal elements that feel tropical, yet chic. Keeping grounded with Nature is ingrained in Balinese traditions thus all villas constructed under the watchful eye of famed Balinese builder, I Gusti Astawa combines indoor/outdoor living with a minimal use of walls.

Kesari Villas is owned
maintained by long term resident of Sanur, Canadian expatriate Lisa Crosby.  Lisa carefully designed each villa in combination with Balinese & French architects.  The traditional teak villas, artifacts, artwork and furniture  from all over the Indonesian archipelago were hand selected during several years at sea cruising the archipelago. Nowadays, Lisa is CEO of Pemco Group, a company operating an eco marine tourism cruise ship that cleans plastic waste from the seas while taking guests from island to island.
